Alive. Active. Not sure how many people think this way about the Bible. It may look to be a book of stories or maybe some general guidelines for life, but when you read it with the intention to let it transform you, it is a lot more than a book of stories. The Word can go where others can not go. It goes right to your Spirit and is designed to help you and correct you in the current time and events in your life. Say a prayer before reading and ask God to reveal His plan and works for you.
