One of the major ways the devil attempts to attack Christians is by using God’s Word against them. He will twist the Scripture to try to sell evil. Adam and Eve fell for this tactic in the garden, which was also tried on Jesus in the wilderness. The big difference was Jesus used the truth of God’s word to defend against the scheme.
It’s very important to be in tune with God’s Word to ward off the devil’s advances. We must use God’s word in battle and not lean on our understanding.
