Title: A Deal with the Eyes
So I say, walk by the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16
Spiritual warfare takes place in the mind. The mind is the battleground; the brain takes in information from Satan’s schemes or our fleshly desires. To walk by the spirit is to walk away from sin. This can be a challenge because it is so easy to satisfy the flesh today. Once we understand that the eyes are attached to the brain, they pass on the information at hand. The heart takes in that information and the heart reacts to it. It’s at that moment that we can walk away from sin, or we walk toward it. Make a deal with your eyes to look for the good things that promote good heart health, not the desires of the flesh.
Real men are led by the Spirit.
