Title: Listen UP
He says, Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. – Psalm 46:10a
My wife was recently talking to me, and after my third attempt to enter into the conversation, I heard the Spirit say to me, “Just listen, then encourage, don’t fix!” What she was really saying had nothing to do with her words, and I would have missed it altogether. Typically, I would have responded in my flesh and suggested lots of ways to fix things, never “hearing” what she said. We often think the weakest part of our walk is spending time in the Word or our prayer life, but for many of us, it is our ability to listen to Him. Today, for a moment, “be still,” know He is God, and look for the Spirit to guide you.
Real Men take action to “be still.”
