He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. – Romans 12:1b
The scripture talks of God being placed at the highest, honored, and praised. This verse also speaks of Jesus after the resurrection and how we elevate ourselves through humility and obedience to God. “Caution.” The Bible warns against self-exaltation, a sign of pride that, as we know, leads to a fall.
Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
