I love deer hunting because it makes me slow down and enjoy the quiet of the woods. That’s where I feel closest to God and can really listen. If you don’t hunt, it might be hard to picture spending hours just sitting in silence, but that’s what I look forward to every season. Do you have a spot where you can be still and listen for God? When was the last time you got away from the noise and found a quiet place to meet with Him? Maybe it’s a room in your house, the garage, a park, or your backyard. If you don’t have a place like that, try to find one. God is waiting for you.
