Title: Make a goal

He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. –  Romans 12:1b

What stops you from taking time to be still and listen to God? The Bible encourages us to get to know Him, which means making time to pause and listen. I understand this can be hard, especially since many of us are focused on reaching goals. Try setting a goal to spend time in His Word and listen with intention. As we listen more, we become more in tune with God’s will, and it gets easier to put aside the things that keep us from slowing down.

Scott, Kellie, Cole and Elissa Mitchell have live in Fishers, IN. Scott currently works for Marriott Hotels as a Director of Engineering. For the past 16 years, Scott has taken on active role in Men’s Ministry, by leading a weekly Bible study, and assisting with the youth in many capacities.
