Title: Intercede for others

Pray continually… – 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Have you ever felt that someone is praying for you, and you feel lifted up? I know I have. The prayer of another can affect our dispositions and drive away the devil’s oppression.

Hebrews 7:24-25 “But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore, He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

Now consider the power of the prayers the Lord Jesus offers for you. He intercedes on our behalf, praying for our protection and safety, and for our successes and failures.

We should be thankful that Jesus is continually praying on our behalf. His prayers can chase away the gloom and doom. His example should inspire us to pray for somebody else. Your prayers can lift up somebody today.

For an additional read, look at John 17: 9-15 as Jesus intercedes for His disciples.

Real men pray for others.
