Title Just pray

…pray continually – 1 Thess 5:17

Have you ever run out of gas? I have. I just wasn’t paying attention to my gas gauge and the next thing you know the engine just stopped. Continually watching to see how much gas you have is not something you do automatically. In fact, it’s probably the last thing you think about once you get into the car. The verse for today is a simple command, pray continually. But, is it something you really pay attention to? Do you get up in the morning say a quick prayer (which may look more like a wishlist) and then never pray again that day or do you really stay in prayer all day? It takes a firm conviction to pray continually, life just gets in the way sometimes. I get it guys, but we must be men of prayer, and I’ll go out on a limb and say if you stop and listen, you may hear the Spirit telling you how and when to pray. I’m fortunate to have a job where I can pray all the time. It didn’t happen right away, it took discipline to develop the habit. Once you begin to develop this discipline, stick to it guys, and it will start to become natural.

Real Men pray
