Popeye always got himself out of trouble by eating spinach. But he still waited until it was almost too late. What would have happened if Popeye had eaten his spinach at the beginning of the cartoon instead of waiting until he was in a tight bind?
Do you sometimes treat prayer that way? If we “pray continually,” we are constantly plugged in, always connected, always ready.
Don’t wait until you’re in trouble to pray.
Real men pray continually.
