Title: O Prodigal
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh – Galatians 5:16
Brothers, if we’re saved by faith and all our sins—past, present, and future—are already paid for, why shouldn’t we just keep living the way we always have?
Today’s verse, like many others, talks about the tension between the Spirit and the flesh. Trying to live in both worlds just feels awful.
Some men have just enough of God to feel miserable in the world, and just enough of the world to feel miserable with God.
My walk is far from perfect—O prodigal that I am! But I do know to run home to the Father, who helps me whenever I need it.
