Title: True Health
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. – Galatians 5:16
There are three parts to proper health: Physical, Mental, and Spiritual.
Most men strive to go to the gym and work out, and it can be an addictive experience. We thrive on it; it comes with feeling good mentally, and most times, it helps with mental health healing. But what of your spiritual health? How much effort do we put into this on a daily basis? The scriptures have been telling us for thousands of years that unconfessed sin leads to poor physical health. I ponder this as I look at my own health issues. I confess my sins often, but do I carry any deep-seated needs that need to come out? That is my soul searching to answer, to assist my healing, the rest will follow.
“Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.” Proverbs 12:25
Real men prioritize spiritual health first.

Bill Reilly

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
