Title: Life Verse

Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse. – Proverbs 2:12

Men, do you have a life verse? Unfamiliar? It’s a verse from scripture that speaks to your heart, almost as though it was written for you. It’s very personal; usually, there’s a story behind that particular Bible verse. A life verse can be a great focal point for your personal walk with God. When choosing a specific verse, it’s critical to grasp its whole meaning, not to take it out of context to fit your personal needs. While I find the concept of a life verse fascinating, we should, of course, study and understand the Bible as a whole, as it is presented as God-breathed for teaching, correcting, and training us for a Christ-centered life.

Real Men use a life verse to guide them through life and the Bible.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
