Title: Let the Spirit Work
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
I heard a sermon a few months back, and there were some interesting stats the Pastor shared in the sermon. I won’t list them out, but the message was that the more you are in the Word of God, the more your fleshly desires diminish. That is what today’s scripture is communicating to us. Let the Word fill the void of what our flesh would rather have. The interesting point about the stats was that it wasn’t how many days you read the Word but the amount of quality time in the Word. Let the Spirit work.
