For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart! – Hebrews 4:12
Alive. Active. I wonder how many people see the Bible this way. It might seem like just a collection of stories or some advice for living, but if you read it with an open heart, it becomes much more. The Word reaches places nothing else can. It speaks directly to your spirit and is meant to guide and correct you in whatever you are facing right now. Before you read, take a moment to pray and ask God to show you His plan and what He is doing in your life.
