Title: Think ahead
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart – Hebrews 4:12
I read a book called The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It is meant to help set goals and become a better leader. I found that it has a lot of useful ideas.
One thing that stood out to me was the idea to “think with the end in mind.” It’s easy to rush into things without considering what might happen as a result.
I think this also applies to sin. When we sin, there are spiritual consequences. God forgives us, but the results of our actions remain. That’s why it’s important to think ahead, watch out for trouble, and take steps to avoid it. One way to do this is by learning verses from God’s Word, which can help us make better choices every day.
