Title: The Right Fuel

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Let’s talk about Word as it relates to the fuel we need. The first thing in terms of gas/oil mixture engines is that they won’t run too well with the wrong fuel. Same with us as it relates to the Word, we must remember what we read or listen to. We take in as fuel. Reading or listening to the wrong words is like the wrong fuel.

In the opening of John 1:1, he says, “ In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God”

“John 6:63 Jesus said it is the Spirit that gives life. So, the Spirit of God uses the Word of God to fuel our life. The WORD of God is LIVING truth.”

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
