Title: Reject Sin and Live by Spirit

So I say, walk by the spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 

What does this scripture say about walking by the Spirit? According to Paul, this means we must learn to put off our old way of life, which is the work of the flesh.

As Christian men, it means we must learn to reject sin in all its forms. Living by the Spirit is living in obedience to scripture. To walk by the Spirit is a new way of life, a scripture-focused life, even surrounding ourselves with like-minded people. We must learn to let go of our control and place our lives under His control and direction. It is not just the absence of sin; it is the presence of goodness, love, and power.

Real Men live by the Spirit.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL.
