Wed // Grit : Character

Title: Influence or Influenced

Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” – 1 Corinthians 15:33

We don’t like to admit, but the more time we spend with someone, the more we act like them. Sort of like spending a week in Canada and coming back with a new accent. Eh? We were made by God to influence, to be influenced and to live in community. And like most of God’s creation; if put in the wrong context, our “influential nature” can be misused.

It’s important to remember that our character is something we need to work on. Good character doesn’t just happen; it’s cultivated over a long period of time. Don’t leave your character unattended and be intentional about the company you keep.

Real Men cultivate character.
