Wed // Grit : Character

Title: Influence or Influenced

Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” – 1 Corinthians 15:33

We don’t like to admit, but the more time we spend with someone, the more we act like them. Sort of like spending a week in Canada and coming back with a new accent. Eh? We were made by God to influence, to be influenced, and to live in the community. And like most of God’s creation, if put in the wrong context, our “influential nature” can be misused.
It’s important to remember that our character is something we need to work on. Good character doesn’t just happen; it’s cultivated over a long period. Don’t leave your character unattended and be intentional about the company you keep.

Real Men cultivate character.
