Wed // Grit :: Committed

Title: Keep your commitments

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this – Psalm 37:5

Personally, one of the things I dislike about technology is how easy it is to be non-committal. If we don’t want to go to something, we can text someone and tell them we can’t make it. Commitment is something that we lack today.

I can’t imagine Jesus doing this to his disciples, telling them he’ll be there and not show up because he didn’t want to go. Jesus is committed to us no matter how uncommitted we are. That shouldn’t give us an excuse not to be committed, but it should drive us to be committed to Him in everything we do.

Where do you lack in commitment? How can you be more committed to God and those around you?

Real Men are Committed.
