When we commit to God, we are committing to a way of life that honors God. In our walk, we need to have an attitude like Jesus, even when it is tough and messy.
Do we see value in every person, regardless of their past and present condition? Jesus does.
Do we believe God is for everyone? Jesus does.
It is more important to help people know God, not to make sure they know they are sinners. Jesus does.
Do we feel compassion for people who are not following God and doing immoral things? Jesus does.
If we do our part and commit to these attitudes that Jesus has, He will handle the rest.
