Salt is a very popular seasoning and has several different uses. Salt is used to preserve things; it can influence or enhance the flavors of food. In Matthew 5:13, Jesus told his disciples, “You are the salt of the earth,” meaning you can influence or have an effect on those around you.
As Christian men to be the “salt of the earth, we should have a positive influence and effect on the lives of others. For men, this should be seen in every relationship we have as husbands, fathers, friends, family, and co-workers. As we continue to pursue Christ, the influence we have on others will naturally happen.
Real Men want Christ to influence others through them.
