Title:  Seek Others

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. – 1 Corinthians 11:1

I recently watched the film “The Forge.”In the film, the spiritual mentoring the characters enter into is, as we know, discipline. The way it’s depicted was a profound, moving message to me. As Christian men, we are called to seek other men, being that person who chooses to mentor in faith and be a model for how to live discipleship with Jesus Christ. That concept is at the core of what Jesus calls us to do as he mentors his disciples. Understanding it’s not a one-time event but meant for us to walk with this person and accompany them as spiritual companions in their faith journey. Importantly, we should teach them to do the same.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
