Wed // Grit :: Influence

March 12, 2025Scott Mitchell

Title: Positive Affect

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.1 Corinthians 11:1

Influence: The power to cause changes without direct force.

By definition, as Christian men, we should positively influence those around us. For men, this is in every relationship we have as husbands, fathers, friends, family, and co-workers. As we build an authentic relationship with Christ, those around us will see and want it, and the influence will naturally happen. But to be that kind of influence, there has to be no acting or pretending. We have to be in a genuine and authentic relationship with Christ.

Real Men want Christ to influence others through them.
