Title: Follow the steps
And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, Heb 12:1c
The first part of Hebrews 12:1 talks about the previous chapter and how the author describes all these people who set examples of perseverance and trusting God. Then he asks us to put our sins aside, and THEN he says to run with perseverance. Men, there are steps to persevere. God never intended for you to do it without giving you examples of how.
The second step is setting aside your sin. Let us be as transparent as Jesus was…You must repent if you want to live a life honored by Him. Part of that is the perseverance to get through your struggles. Man up and stop the sin in your heart. Do it. Now.
Real Men man up in order to persevere.
