Title: Giving Thanks Seems Odd

Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us… – Hebrews 12:1c

We face all kinds of issues in life that leave us anxious and restless. Giving thanks in these times seems odd, but devoting entire prayers or journal entries to thanksgiving is a great way to re-fill our spiritual fuel tank. Being thankful helps us look within and see our growth and the traces of God in our lives. The race seems daunting at first, but when we look back, it is gratifying to see what God brought us through.

Make a list of the things or people in our lives for which we’re thankful and praise God for them.

Real men Persevere and are thankful.
