Title: God’s purpose


As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD. – Joshua 24:15


How often do we think about God’s purpose for us? The older I get, the more I search. I reflect on something my father said to myself and my sibling’s dozens of times “I wonder why God put me here” the oldest of 13 children by age 62 outlived all his siblings and parents survived. What were his thoughts? At his bedside in his last minutes, whispered in his ear, I hope you now know. That has been in my heart for years, now, I am searching for God’s purpose. It’s both exciting and a need to know.

 Real men focus and strive to achieve God’s purpose in life for them.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
