Title: What’s in the mirror?

Do not be misled: “Bad Company corrupts good character.” – 1 Corinthians 15:33

This is a powerful verse, which can alter life. This scripture teaches us about learning to surround ourselves with a community of believers and Godly people. I will quote valuable hearing from my Cape Vineyard Church. As true Christians we must first look upwards to God, then inward t who we are, then outward to our communities.

Men, we must always first reflect in the mirror who we are and where we are in our relationship with God. Men, it is a critical part of our character on how others see us. While it is important to know with whom we keep company, this scripture does not necessarily mean we should abandon all our current friends; rather, it calls us to reach outward and bring people into a Godly spiritual life.

I do not believe all men build good character at the same time or the same way, but it must be done through learning to follow Jesus and his teachings.

Real Men build good Christian Character

Bill Reilly

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
