Title: Commitment over time

Commit your ways to the LORD; trust in Him and He will do this – Psalms 37:5

Commitment sounds good when the road is easy.

It is easy to commit when the marriage feels close, the business is growing, the kids are responding, the ministry feels fruitful, and the plan is working.

But real commitment gets tested when things are slow, hard, misunderstood, or unseen.

Psalm 37:5 tells us to commit our way to the Lord, trust in Him, and He will act. That does not mean everything happens fast. It does not mean we always get the outcome we wanted. It means we keep placing our path before God and keep walking faithfully.

A lot of men quit too early. Not always physically, but emotionally. We check out. We get cynical. We stop trying. We stop praying. We stop leading with heart because we are tired of being disappointed.

But grit is not loud. Most of the time, grit looks like faithfulness over time.

Showing up again. Doing the right thing again. Choosing patience again. Owning your part again. Trusting God again.

The men who build strong lives are not always the most talented. They are often the ones who stayed committed when quitting would have been easier.

Real men do not only commit when it feels rewarding. Real men commit their way to the Lord and keep walking.
