Title: What’s Important

Commit your ways to the LORD; trust in Him and He will do this – Psalms 37:5

What we have is not the most important thing. Some people own homes, some rent, and others live in RVs or motorhomes. Some have savings, while others live paycheck to paycheck or need help. Some drive nice cars or trucks, while others are facing hard times.

Paul wrote in Philippians 4:11–13 that he learned how to be content in every situation. There were times when he had plenty and times when he had little. He was sometimes well fed and sometimes hungry. Paul faced physical challenges and hardships, but he also experienced the power of God working through him.

Remember that your strength and spiritual growth come from the Lord. Trust Him in every situation. God will fight for you, guide you through your struggles, and rescue you.

Our basic needs are important, but God and our relationships with one another matter most. Without God and without each other, what do we really have?

Practice gratitude and learn to find contentment in what God has provided, rather than always wanting things to go your own way. True contentment isn’t found in what we have—it’s found in trusting God through whatever circumstances we face.
