As we have grown more accustomed to technology, we have become more accustomed to the ease of getting out of things we have committed to. We can turn people down with a quick text or email. And let’s be honest, no one ever responds to a Facebook invite. Rejection has become easy.
Men are often known as being flaky and noncommittal. Jesus was very committed to everything he did. There was no “flakiness” to how he engaged with people.
Where do you lack commitment? Is it to God? Your wife? Kids? A friend? What will it take for you to be committed to everything you do?
