Title: The influence of actions
Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. – 1 Corinthians 11:1
One of my favorite movies is Gladiator. One of my favorite lines in that
movie is “what we do in life echoes in eternity.” So powerful, so true. Men,
what is your life echoing right now? Do all your actions point back to our
Lord? Tough questions, I know. The gospel was spread through the apostles’ work and is a clear indication of what can happen when a few men
live by the example set by Christ. The most significant influence we exert is when
we die to ourselves so that when people look at us, they see only Jesus.
Real Men influence their world for God’s glory.
