Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us… – Hebrews 12:1c
Persevere, we all have had to do this in our lives, a taxing project or problem at work, training for a race, or even a medical issue. For me, it was a long, grueling period of military training. Yet, for all the perseverance, the outcome was rewarding. Most likely short-lived and now a memory or a plaque on the wall for conversation. What does the Bible say about the perseverance of faith? We find it in many scriptures that promise eternal life. When you think of what that means, and the reward is immortal, not short-lived, why is it so hard? Jesus says in the scripture that it is not easy, but it will be rewarding.
Real Men display perseverance.
