Title: Self-Reflection

As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD. – Joshua 24:15
In this verse, it is a simple commandment: whom do you serve? As I think of the meaning of Resolve, decide firmly on a course of action. This I learned is spoken more than a dozen times in scripture. What does it mean to resolve to follow Jesus? I ponder this question: am I a doer of the word, or just a reader of the word? How do other Men view me? Think of God’s word as the test or the mirror to look into. When we look at this reflection, is it of a man with Resolve to follow Jesus?

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
